Fremont Glass

UNIQUE IN NATURE

We do our very best to capture the likeness of each piece but it’s difficult to show every facet. Please allow for small ‘imperfections’ in the glass and remember each piece is handmade with love ❤️

Colours and textures may be different to what you see on your screen as glass can vary dramatically in different lighting and against different backgrounds. Bubbles or texture changes can be expected and add to the unique look of each piece.

Refraction, in the context of stained glass, refers to the way light interacts with glass. Refractions can create unique patterns, colors, and effects that add depth and vitality to your piece. When light passes through glass, it bends slightly, causing it to change direction. This process is what we call refraction. Refraction can create a variety of beautiful and unique effects, such as rainbows, reflections, and prisms. Each piece of glass is unique, and the way light passes through it can create a world of wonder. So whether you're interested in a single-color piece or a piece that features a multitude of colors, the refraction process in stained glass adds a dynamic visual experience to your piece.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Indoor use only. Stained glass art can crack in extreme temperatures and should be kept away from moisture. To clean your piece, use a dry cloth or a micro-fiber cloth. Avoid using any soaps, cleaning agents, or anything that could potentially scratch or damage the surface of the glass.

HANGING INSTRUCTIONS

Use hardware like nails or hooks above your window for the most secure hang possible. Please avoid suction cups! We also enjoy hanging pieces on the wall where the light hits them.

LEAD WARNING

Lead is used to solder and frame our stained glass art. Our pieces are intended for decorative use only and should be kept away from pets and children. When handling a stained glass piece, wash your hands thoroughly after contact. It's only harmful if ingested so no need for concern.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the lead warning or how to properly hang, and care for your stained glass piece, please contact us and we will be happy to help!
